What You’ll Experience
MEET YOUR INSTRUCTORS
LAURA CASSIDY
For over 30 years, Laura has been working with leaders and teams in organizations to help increase their effectiveness. Her strength is working with senior leaders to design high impact off site meetings and conferences and build strong team relationships through strategic team building events. She is a warm and engaging leadership coach, workshop leader and team facilitator.
Her extensive experience working inside large and small organizations gives her a practical and realistic orientation. She has designed organizational change strategies, provided consulting, coached leaders, helped teams adapt and orient to continuous change, as well as designed and delivered a variety of highly regarded leadership and management development training programs.
Laura has a Master of Arts in Human Resources Development and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and is certified to administer the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and other leadership assessment and 360-degree feedback tools.
NICOLE DETWEILER
Nicole is a dynamic leader whose unwavering passion lies in catalyzing action and fostering growth within others to create lasting change and impact.
Nicole’s career has traversed diverse industries including design-build construction, telecom, entertainment, and emerging technologies. In each, Nicole has been guided by a single principle: "What if it is not about the industry, but just about the people?" She has lived by this principle in every interaction, operational choice and managerial decision she has made. Nicole has extensive experience in navigating the intimate landscape of Mergers and Acquisitions, particularly concerning the integration of culture and leadership. Her expertise spans the spectrum of change management, where strategic planning and implementation are paramount. Recognizing the emergence of leaders and the importance of sustained engagement amidst transitions, Nicole has orchestrated cultural integration, team alignment and advanced operating procedures to accelerate process.
A Florida Southern College alum and former college basketball player, Nicole lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and two sons.
